History of a French family manufacture
We are located in the heart of the lake country (le pays des lacs) in Jura ( in Eastern France ). It is in this area that the first glasses saw the light at the beginning of the XIXth century and that is where the first spectacle makers honed their craft with the first French workshops. It is there that we have been making glasses for more than forty years.

A family manufacture since 1980
The history of our family manufacture starts in 1980. Our first collection in acetate sees the light of day, with a small number of models. All the skills and knowledge needed to manufacture a frame are already mastered thanks to a previous 10-year professional experience.
The expertise is preserved, protected and transmitted in 2011. Franck Marmillon, the founder’s son, then takes the helm of this authentic manufacture. Encouraged by the success, new premises are built more spacious and modern, which enable us to install new equipment. The same method prevails ever since: combine the most recent technologies to the traditional know-how, lovingly perpetuated, to make quality glasses.
Today our manufacture is among the few spectacle makers which are still active in France. We are proud to present various styles of frames, of French quality.
French origins
A recognition
In 2019 we obtained the certification « Origine France Garantie » (French Origin Guaranteed) for all of our frames. This highly demanding certification requires a meticulous and thorough study. It enables to highlight the French industrial know-how and craftsmanship and it shows a total transparency as to the traceability of our frames. Indeed, each of our frames is completely made in our workshop.
To keep our precious « Origine France Garantie » label, controls are conducted every year within our workshop itself. Our production and our suppliers are closely scrutinized. ‘Ever since we received it, we have always kept it’.
